It’s been a while since we posted anything as December and thus far into January have been tough sledding with Covid.  While we know all the teams have had to deal with the virus, PRHC just has not been able to field a consistent team game to game.

Quick re-cap: the Birds went 2-2 in December with losses to Santa Margarita and Fairmont Prep in the first half of December. Then back-to-back wins with a Home-and-Home against Damien right before the Christmas break

Starting back up in January, the boys needed to shake off the cobwebs and get going, even through several of the players we either recovering or working through Covid protocol.  Both games against St. Mary’s and Orange Lutheran were solid efforts, but in the end PRHC recorded 2 more loses.

The team was planning on heading to Detroit January 13th for a NAPHL weekend, but with more Covid positive outcomes, the team has unfortunately been forced to sit it out.  Hopefully with a week break, the club can regroup and get ready to play a full weekend on the 22nd and 23rd.

More to come and let’s get healthy.
